Many professionals are not getting desired results at work, at home, or both. There are many reasons for underperformance, such as lack of confidence, inability to connect, an ego-over-humility approach, conflict avoidance, fear of failure, or allowing others to determine their self-worth, to name a few. JMB helps individuals increase self-awareness, crystalize a vision for the future, set goals, determine what is “blocking” success, create an action plan, and serve as an accountability partner along the way. Approach

A typical engagement is 12 sessions and includes a kick-off meeting and wrap-up session with action plan. Together, we:

  • Establish safe space for open confidential dialogue
  • Raise self-awareness to improve interactions with others and get desired outcomes
  • Define and design life and career goals
  • Facilitate behavior change and personal transformation
  • Develop an action plan and accountability schema
  • Manage ad hoc issues as they arise

Leadership Development

Many leaders are technically rich with a knack for innovation and revenue generation, but may lack effectiveness, engaging teams, driving performance, and creating a rewarding culture. Coaching can help leaders increase self-awareness, develop an authentic and inclusive leadership approach, improve critical thinking, accelerate learning, better team performance, and navigate organizational change.

JMB leadership engagements comprise the following:

  • Assessment: A co-created 360 survey conducted via personal interviews. The output is designed to increase self-awareness and to identify strengths and opportunities for growth
  • Goal Setting: An action plan aligned with personal and professional goals, with concrete action steps and associated due dates
  • Accountability: Bi-weekly sessions to monitor progress-to-goal and to discuss ad hoc issues

Burnout Coaching

Burnout among professionals is on the rise. This is bad news for the health and wellness of individuals, but it’s also bad news for companies. Burnout can lead to higher attrition, increased absenteeism, decreased engagement, and lower productivity. This translates into poor business performance and a hit to revenue. Some are pegging the financial cost of lost productivity in the U.S. at $1.8 trillion annually. And turnover can cost a company 1.5-2 times the employee’s salary.

JMB facilitates coaching in a 1:1 or group setting designed to help individuals recognize signs of burnout and introduce tools and techniques to better manage it. Assessments such as the Energy Leadership Index are used to increase self-awareness and frameworks like PQ Intelligence are leveraged to rewire neuro-pathways and make space for joy and well-being. Typically sessions are bi-weekly and last for six months.

Team Coaching

Business is a team sport. Even as an individual contributor, to maximize your performance and potential, it’s critical that you’re aligned with the broader team. Team coaching is a way to exponentially impact and accelerate business goals and build a healthy culture. To facilitate team coaching, JMB leverages Good Leadership’s Team Momentum Survey©. It reveals the degree to which a team is aligned, committed, and accountable for the results they expect. The survey also provides a customized, actionable dashboard with specific recommendations on how to improve results. The survey is perfect as a team offsite exercise or to inform annual strategic planning.

3P Career Change Program: Passion, Purpose and Pivot
